Key Responsibilities
  1. Developing and implementing effective communications strategies to promote the group's policies and activities.
  2. Building and maintaining relationships with media outlets and stakeholders to secure coverage and interviews.
  3. Producing high-quality written materials, including press releases, articles, and social media content, to engage audiences and promote the group's message.
  4. Contributing to the development of communications campaign plans and delivering them as part of the group's communications team.
  5. Maintaining media monitoring systems to support the group's communications efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a communications role, preferably in politics, campaigning, or the media.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality written materials under tight deadlines.
  • Strong relationships-building skills, with the ability to foster good working relationships with media stakeholders and colleagues.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
