About the Opportunity

Alexander Steele Recruitment has partnered with a leading FMCG brand to find an experienced Corporate PR Executive to join their growing marketing team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for raising the profile and awareness of the business, developing and delivering a proactive PR strategy and activity plan, promoting the brand through all forms of on and off-line media.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement PR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Coordinate PR activities, including media relations, press releases, interviews, and public speaking events.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Ecomms, and Creative teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging.
  • Advise on sensitive public issues and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Monitor PR campaign performance, set clear KPIs, and prepare reports.
  • Maintain a PR calendar, manage sponsorship opportunities, and handle organic media coverage.
  • Develop and manage PR toolkits, best practices, and internal communications across departments.
  • Work with a PR agency to increase brand awareness and industry education.
  • Prepare for potential PR crises and manage the budget effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Public Relations Executive or similar role.
  • Proven experience in coordinating and managing effective PR campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable as a public speaker.
  • Experience in fast-paced Marketing/PR teams and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in developing and implementing local and national UK PR campaigns.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Media trained.
  • Degree in PR, marketing, or a related field.

Estimated Salary Range: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We estimate this salary based on market rates for this position in the UK.
