Digital Media Support Officer

We are seeking a skilled Digital Media Support Officer to join our team and help drive the Green Party's online presence. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for creating engaging digital content and providing expert advice on media relations.

Main Objectives:
  • To develop and execute a comprehensive digital media strategy that promotes the party's message and engages diverse audiences.
  • To create high-quality digital content, including social media posts, blog articles, and press releases.
  • To build strong relationships with media stakeholders and identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • To stay up-to-date with the latest digital media trends and best practices.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a communications role, preferably in politics or the media.
  • Proven expertise in digital media and social media marketing.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce engaging content across various formats.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Based in Edinburgh, this 30-hour per week position comes with a salary range of £35,000-£40,000 per annum.
