Social Media Marketing Role

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Marketing Executive to join our Edinburgh office. This exciting opportunity will allow you to be part of a new team providing social media and content creation services to renowned hotel and travel brands.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing social media strategies and managing day-to-day channel activities. Your primary focus will be on delivering standout social media content, ensuring first-class quality and creativity in all aspects of your work.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen visual eye, with the ability to devise effective publishing plans and social campaigns. Additionally, they will have excellent technical skills, enabling them to analyse data and create informative reports.

This client-facing role requires strong presentation skills, as well as the confidence to conduct engaging client meetings and workshops. We value passion and know-how over experience, offering on-the-job training and mentoring to support your professional development.

Purpose of the Role
  • To work across multiple social platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • To edit and file multimedia content, creating engaging posts for various channels.
  • To develop monthly publishing plans tailored to specific objectives and platforms.
  • To schedule and optimise all social content, ensuring maximum reach and impact.
  • To manage community interactions, responding promptly to user inquiries and comments.
  • To gather, analyse, and report data on social media performance.
  • To stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, and new features.
Content Creation Responsibilities
  • To transform existing assets into fresh social content formats.
  • To design and produce original photo and video assets, meeting high-quality standards.
  • To collaborate with videographers, photographers, and influencers to create engaging content.
Client Training and Development
  • To enhance our clients' digital knowledge and skills.
  • To create multimedia training resources, teaching essential technical and creative skills.
  • To deliver interactive workshops, guiding clients in using digital tools effectively.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities, with a proven track record of multitasking and prioritising tasks.
  • Detailed understanding of best practices across major social media platforms.
  • The ability to think creatively, aligning with business objectives.
  • Effective copywriting skills, producing engaging and memorable content.
  • Superior multimedia content creation and editing skills.
  • A keen visual sense, combined with flair for crafting compelling presentations.
  • Degree in Digital Marketing or related field.
  • Passion for the luxury travel sector.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the industry or at an agency level.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Fluent second language skills.
Working Conditions and Benefits

This full-time position is based at our Edinburgh head office, offering stunning views of Edinburgh Castle. You will also have opportunities for domestic and international travel.

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
