The Digital Media Specialist will play a crucial role in providing expert communications and media support to the Greens party in Scotland.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced digital environment, directly contributing to the group's communications output across the full range of channels.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Media Relations: Building strong relationships with key media stakeholders in Scotland and engaging with them online.
  • Content Creation: Developing high-quality digital content, including press releases, articles, social media content, and other written materials to promote the Greens' agenda and engage the public.
  • Campaign Planning: Contributing to the development of communications campaign plans and delivering them as part of the team.
  • Media Monitoring: Tracking all media outlets to identify relevant developments and provide timely analysis.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience of working in a digital communications role in politics or the media.
  • Relationship Building: Strong ability to build relationships with confidence and understand the digital media landscape.
  • Creative Skills: Experience in designing creative digital communications across multiple formats.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly and creatively in a fast-paced digital environment.

Benefits:
