About the Job:

We are looking for a highly skilled Construction Site Risk Manager to join our team at Contract Scotland. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks on construction sites across Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement robust risk management strategies to minimize potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential risks and develop action plans to address them.
  • Collaborate with site teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and assess potential risks and develop solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on risk assessment and mitigation to site teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, including recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior health and safety advisory role within civil engineering.
  • Degree or diploma in occupational health and safety, environmental management, or a related field.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in occupational health and safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with site teams and internal stakeholders.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with an excellent benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and private healthcare.
