Safety Policy Developer

About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Policy Developer to join our team at Contract Scotland. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective health and safety policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews of existing policies and procedures to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
- Collaborate with site teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and assess potential risks and develop solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on policy development and implementation to site teams and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of policy development, implementation, and review, including recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior health and safety advisory role within civil engineering.
- Degree or diploma in occupational health and safety, environmental management, or a related field.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in occupational health and safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with site teams and internal stakeholders.
Estimated Salary: £58,000 - £68,000 per annum.
