New Directions Holding is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Secondary Teaching Assistants to join our supply team. These roles offer flexibility, variety, and the chance to work in a range of school settings across Flintshire.

About the Role

We're looking for individuals with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll assist teachers with lesson preparation, support individual students, and encourage positive behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson planning
  • Support students with their learning and provide individualised assistance
  • Encourage positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment
  • Help with administrative tasks and ensure classroom resources are well-organised
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to different schools as needed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to undergo one)
