Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse to join our Corneal Nursing Team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will have extensive clinical experience in Ophthalmology and be able to provide a high-quality service for our patients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the department and deputising in the absence of the Lead Nurse
  • Ensuring the safe running of the department and adequate staff cover
  • Contributing to cost-effective control of resources
  • Working collaboratively with other departments
  • Providing patient education and post-operative advice for Corneal procedures/surgeries

We offer a competitive salary of £37,338 - £44,962 per annum pro rata, depending on experience.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse / Midwife/AHP
  • Post-basic specialist Qualification relevant to specialty
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • ECDL
