Job Overview

Our client, a leading specialist in Cancer Care, is seeking a Community Chemotherapy Nurse to join their team in Liverpool, Merseyside. As a member of this innovative team, you will enjoy a comprehensive package, including an annual salary of up to £43,000, negotiable based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have essential experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy, and possess skills in cannulation and venepuncture. A valid driving licence and SACT Passport or equivalent qualification are also required.

Responsibilities
  • Administering IV and oral chemotherapy treatments
  • Conducting blood tests and toxicity assessments
  • Managing pump disconnections and line care
  • Performing IM/SC injections
  • Collaborating with a wider nursing team while working independently
  • Staying updated with new technologies and therapies
