Charity Income Development Specialist

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fundraising Manager to lead our charity's income development strategy.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with flexible working arrangements, a pension scheme, 31 days holiday (plus bank holidays), and specialist training and development opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity to drive our community fundraising efforts and build on our excellent service delivery. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with experience in fundraising, sales, or marketing being beneficial but not essential.

The Fundraising Manager will work closely with colleagues across the service to develop and deliver our income growth strategy. This may involve line management of communications team staff and volunteers. It is crucial for the role holder to establish and maintain relationships with key partners externally and work collaboratively with the management team and our Development Committee.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Bid-writing and grant applications to secure funding
  • Community fundraising and events to engage supporters
  • Developing and expanding current income streams to achieve our targets
