Main Responsibilities:
  1. To support the general Microbiology laboratory and participate in audit and teaching.
  2. To deal with day-to-day issues of Infection Control, including outbreaks while on call.
  3. To share in a 1 in 3 on-call rota for Microbiology and Infection Control at KGH.

The laboratory-related clinical microbiology includes daily antibiotics ward rounds, daily ICU ward rounds, weekly Haematology and Neonatal ward rounds, and participating in weekly Isolation ward MDT supported by the Infection Control Team and Gastroenterologist.

We offer a competitive salary of £105,504 - £139,882 per annum (or pro rata).
