About the Centre

Cpl UK Healthcare's medium secure unit in East London offers a unique opportunity for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join their team. This centre provides specialist forensic psychiatric services to the City of London and surrounding areas.

The Job

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients who have mental illness, learning disabilities, and Autistic-Spectrum Disorders. The role involves working in a multidisciplinary team to provide therapy and education to support patients' recovery and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

  • To assess and develop individualised treatment plans for patients
  • To deliver occupational therapy sessions, including activities such as art, music, and sports
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient outcomes

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about working in a forensic setting. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer

This is a fixed-term position to cover a gap due to secondment. The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
