Reports to: Autism Team Lead

Company Overview: ProblemShared takes a person-centered approach to neurodevelopmental assessments and is building a team of experts who believe in providing assessments which focus on both strengths and challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out remote assessments for Autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Work closely with senior leadership team on the further development of the Autism pathways.
  • Provide consultation and training to other members of staff to develop skills in this area of expertise.
  • Complete risk assessments and review safeguarding needs during ongoing patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current NMC, HCPC or Social Work England registration with no restrictions on practice.
  • Registered nurse or allied health professional with at least 2 years experience and knowledge of autonomously assessing and diagnosing Autism.
  • Relevant experience of carrying out remote assessments.
  • Good knowledge of legislation, research and developments relevant to the field of Autism.
