Role Responsibilities:
As an ASC Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with autism and other special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include working one-on-one and in small groups to help students access the curriculum and engage in learning. You will also assist in creating a structured, nurturing environment, enabling each child to achieve their potential. Collaborating with the SENDCo, teachers, and other staff members will be essential in ensuring tailored and effective student support.
Requirements:
Hold a minimum 2:1 Psychology degree from a recognised UK university; Experience working with individuals with autism and other special educational needs; Enthusiasm, compassion, and a commitment to supporting the development of children with special educational needs; Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to provide collaborative, individualised support.
