Mental Health Therapist: Enhancing Student Experience

We are committed to providing high-quality student services at WhereToTalk. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the student experience by providing professional counselling and wellbeing support.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent knowledge of mental health disorders, risk assessment skills and experience working with diverse populations. They will also demonstrate a holistic approach to student support, ensuring that students receive comprehensive care and guidance.

As a member of our Student Services team, you will work collaboratively to develop and implement strategies to promote student wellbeing and success. Our competitive salary package includes £37,099 per annum (pro-rata for 36 weeks), along with 36 contractual hours.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Counselling or related field
  • Experience in providing short-term counselling and risk assessment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work holistically with students and staff
