Connect2Luton invites an experienced professional to join our team as a Community Engagement Specialist.

Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will oversee a three-year project engaging people affected by and living with cancer.

The post holder will line manage three 'Macmillan Luton Cancer Community Connector' posts, ensuring effective community outreach and trust-building.

The project aims to:

  • deepen understanding of community barriers and challenges;
  • deliver actionable insights to support behaviour change;
  • improve cancer services for users in Luton;
  • tackle health inequalities;
  • co-develop services that enhance cancer experiences.

The Community Engagement Specialist will work with stakeholders to provide community insight data, effectively communicate findings, and propose recommendations.

The post holder will collaborate with partners to co-produce, improve, and redesign cancer services, incorporating insights from the three Macmillan Luton Cancer Community Connector posts.

Key Responsibilities:
