About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at FIND, a specialist recruitment company that works with organisations in the Education, Training & Human Capital sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across various sectors, including Education, Training, and Human Capital. This will involve interacting with potential and existing clients to create new business chances, collaborating with the local team to meet enrolment goals, and representing FIND at local events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Actively identify and pursue new business leads, researching potential clients and new business opportunities within the region.
  • Networking and Relationship Building: Network with local partners and clients to uncover new business opportunities, travelling to meet potential clients and partners to explore new business prospects.
  • Meeting and Presentation Skills: Set up and lead meetings and presentations to convert potential clients, using FIND's CRM system to track and manage new business opportunities.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with the local team to prioritise new business generation and support enrollment targets, developing and maintaining strong relationships with new clients.
  • Results-Oriented: Achieve or surpass monthly new business targets through proactive outreach, coordinating with area managers and internal teams to advance new business leads.
  • Client Feedback and Insights: Collect and share client feedback and market insights with relevant departments.
About You

We are looking for proactive, confident individuals with the following skills and experience:

  • Business Development Experience: Previous experience in a business development role, with a proven track record of new business development and lead generation.
  • Communication and Relationship Building Skills: Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Problem-Solving and Initiative: A natural problem solver who can take initiative and is self-motivated, with a strong ability to work independently.
  • Industry Knowledge: Ideally familiar with the further education and apprenticeship sector, with a strong understanding of the industry and its trends.

Our Area Business Consultants can expect a competitive base salary starting from £27,000 - £29,000, plus our benefits and commission package:
