Key Responsibilities

  • Supports the Sales Manager and performs management duties when the Sales Manager is absent or out of office.
  • Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks.
  • Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance.
  • Communicates deadlines and sales goals to team members.
  • Develops strategies to promote team member adherence to company processes and procedures.
  • Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations.
  • Working to embed a health and safety focused culture across the sales team.
  • Responsibility for training, coaching, development and management of all the Team members.
  • Generates and shares comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance.
  • Provides quality customer service, including interacting with customers and effectively handling customer complaints.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key domestic sales partners.
  • Help Sales Manager in developing domestic sales strategies to support company goals for growth across the domestic market.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Telephone sales and telephone based customer services experience is essential.
  • Excellent customer services skills are essential.
  • Experience of supporting the training and development of personnel within a customer services or sales call centre environment is essential.
  • Experience of Sales Management is highly desirable.
  • Strong Leadership Skills are highly desirable.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel within geographic remit is essential.
  • Strong data entry skills and high levels of accuracy are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills are essential.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently is essential.
