Job Summary
As a 7.5t Delivery Driver at DX, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by transporting products to customers' premises in a safe and timely manner. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent DX in a professional manner at all times, ensuring a positive image of the company.
- Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner, adhering to all legal and company requirements.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects and completing necessary paperwork.
- Scan products using DX scanning equipment to ensure accurate tracking and delivery.
- Load products safely onto vehicles prior to departure from the depot.
- Adhere to DX procedures and policies at all times, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Manage routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved, meeting customer expectations.
- Ensure all necessary equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) is in good working order and used at all times.
- Report any delivery or on-road issues to the traffic office immediately.
- Ensure customer deliveries are made in excellent condition, meeting customer satisfaction standards.
- Deal with customer issues in a polite and effective manner, providing excellent customer service.
- Collect products in line with given instructions and times, ensuring timely delivery.
Essential Criteria
- Hold a valid C1 or above driving license with a valid DQC and Tacho card.
- Have a maximum of 6 points on your driving license and no bans.
- Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers.
- Have the ability to build a rapport with customers, providing a positive experience.
