Job Summary

As a 7.5t Delivery Driver at DX, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by transporting products to customers' premises in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent DX in a professional manner at all times, ensuring a positive image of the company.
  • Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner, adhering to all legal and company requirements.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Scan products using DX scanning equipment to ensure accurate tracking and delivery.
  • Load products safely onto vehicles prior to departure from the depot.
  • Adhere to DX procedures and policies at all times, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Manage routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved, meeting customer expectations.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are in good working order and used at all times.
  • Report any delivery or on-road issues to the traffic office immediately.
  • Ensure customer deliveries are made in excellent condition, meeting customer satisfaction standards.
  • Deal with customer issues in a polite and effective manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Collect products in line with given instructions and times, ensuring timely delivery.

Essential Criteria

  • Hold a valid C1 or above license with a valid DQC and Tacho card.
  • Have a maximum of 6 points on your license and no bans.
  • Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers.
  • Have the ability to build a rapport with customers, providing a positive experience.
