Job Summary:

As a Class 1 Driver at DX, you will be responsible for transporting goods to and from customers' premises and our central hubs, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining a safe and efficient delivery network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations, and ensuring compliance with driver's hours and WTD legislation.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure safety and report any defects promptly.
  • Comply with on-site health and safety requirements and adhere to company policies.
  • Utilize knowledge of routes and traffic conditions to optimize delivery times and efficiency.

Essential Criteria:

  • Possess a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence.
  • Maintain a clean driving record with no more than 6 points on your licence and no DD/DR Code convictions.
  • Hold a current, valid DCPC Card.
