Exciting Opportunity for an Oncology Nurse

Meridian Business Support is partnering with a leading Clinical homecare company to recruit an experienced Oncology Nurse to join their team in the M25 area.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Oncology Nurse to work within our oncology division, providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes. As a field-based nurse, you will be responsible for delivering a range of services, including blood tests, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, and patient training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver patient-centered care to individuals with cancer, focusing on their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
  • Work independently, managing a caseload of patients and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Collaborate with a wider oncology team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote a culture of empathy and understanding.
Requirements:
  • Valid NMC PIN and current registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Formal Oncology qualification or in-house training to administer SACT (Systematic Anti-Cancer Therapy).
  • Proven experience in oncology nursing, with a strong understanding of cancer care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
