Exciting Opportunity for an Oncology Nurse

Meridian Business Support is partnering with a leading Clinical homecare company to recruit an experienced Oncology Nurse to join their team in the M25 region.

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oncology Nurse to work within our oncology division, providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes. As a field-based nurse, you will be responsible for delivering a range of services, including blood tests, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, and patient training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a field-based setting
  • Conduct blood tests, toxicity assessments, and other diagnostic procedures
  • Administer IV and oral chemotherapy, as well as other medications
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with a wider oncology team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Valid NMC PIN and current registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Formal Oncology qualification or in-house training to administer SACT
  • Experience in oncology nursing, with a strong understanding of cancer care and treatment options
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
