Job Title: Commercial Controller
Job Description:
A leading FMCG food business in the Greater London area is seeking a Commercial Controller to join their team. As a key member of the sales and brand management teams, you will be responsible for developing and implementing shopper strategy to drive commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the grocery shopper function by supporting the sales and brand management teams to activate campaigns in-store and provide a long-term strategy to complement.
- Align activities with business objectives on/off-line, and oversee shopper marketing plans - managing agencies and stakeholders.
- Ensure uniform activation plans to maximise revenue and optimise brand investment.
- Manage 2 Shopper Marketing Managers, with budget oversight.
- Collaborate with Brand, Sales, Finance teams, category & Insight managers and customers.
- Positioned for promotion to Head of Shopper within 2 years.
Requirements:
- Experienced leader with a talent for team development and providing clear direction.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinker, adept at identifying trends and growth opportunities.
- Driving commercial success through brand distinction, effective communication, and agile innovation.
