Role Overview

About the Position

  • Salary: £13.76 per hour, ensuring a competitive wage for your expertise
  • Location: Dinas Powys, offering a unique blend of urban and natural environments
  • Flexible hours: Enjoy a dynamic work schedule with 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and sleep-ins available

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support children in their daily activities, fostering independence and wellbeing
  • Promote emotional and practical support to ensure the children's overall development
  • Accompany the children on weekends away, holidays, and trips, creating lasting memories
  • Maintain a safe environment, protecting the children from health and welfare risks

Requirements

  • A strong desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children
  • An empathetic and caring nature, essential for building trust with the children
  • At least 6 months of experience working with children or in Social Care, applying your skills and knowledge effectively
  • A valid UK Driving Licence, enabling you to transport the children safely
  • A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one, guaranteeing the highest standards of safety and security
  • The right to work in the UK, allowing you to contribute to the country's social care landscape
