Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at St Andrew's Healthcare. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with patients who present with complex physical, behavioural, and cognitive needs.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative Occupational Therapy team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality treatment interventions, working collaboratively with patients, and contributing to the development of new ideas and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat patients with complex needs, using a range of occupational therapy techniques and interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and practices, and participate in research and evidence-based practice.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist.Experience of working with patients with complex needs, preferably in a secure services setting.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
