Education Assistant for Vulnerable Youth

About the Job:
We are seeking a highly motivated Education Assistant to join our team at a Special Educational Needs School. As an Education Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils aged 11-18 with diverse special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional 1:1 support and supervision to promote pupil engagement and progress.
- Develop and implement individual learning plans to cater to each pupil's unique needs.
- Support vulnerable young people in enhancing their emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to pupil education and care.
- Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection.
Requirements:
- At least 6 months' experience working with SEN children in the UK.
- An active DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Full-time availability during term time only.
