Special Education Needs Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Professional to join our team at a Special Educational Needs School in the UK. As a Teaching Assistant with SEN specialism, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs, including dyslexia, social communication difficulties, ADHD, autism, and Tourette's syndrome.
As part of our dynamic team, you will provide one-to-one support and supervision for students, promoting their engagement in the learning process and working towards specific aims and objectives. Your tasks will include:
- Developing and delivering individualised learning plans tailored to students' needs;
- Supporting vulnerable young people to enhance their emotional well-being and raise their aspirations;
- Assisting classroom teachers in managing pupil behaviour, delivering lessons, and creating a positive learning environment;
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and providing feedback to teachers, parents, and other professionals as required;
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to each student's education and care.
