We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our team at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Ophthalmology department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality eye care services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist ophthalmic care to patients, including cataract and oculoplastic surgery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of ophthalmic services, including the management of age-related eye disease.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in teaching and training activities to support the development of junior staff.
- Contribute to the development of the department's strategic plan and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
