Job Title: Workshop Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Technician to support our home oxygen and long-term condition services in the community. As a Workshop Technician, you will work closely with our regional team of technicians to provide a high-quality service to users, ensuring stringent quality cleaning, verification, and repair of healthcare equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify, clean, and repair equipment to ensure it's in good working condition
  • Record serial numbers of equipment received from healthcare technicians and place it in the correct holding area
  • Perform PAT testing and Soak testing on equipment
  • Record accurately all work conducted
  • Record serial numbers ready for dispatch to healthcare technicians
  • Occasionally off-load delivery vehicles on site and receive goods

Requirements:

  • Good technical skills and ability to diagnose and rectify faults
  • Ability to work on your own or within a team environment
  • Good level of soft skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work on your own initiative with good time management skills
  • Proactive approach to following processes
