Social Worker - Devon Location

iPeople Solutions is recruiting a skilled Social Worker to join our team in South Devon, supporting children and families through specialist assessment and intervention services.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in conducting child and family assessments, leading section 47 child protection enquiries, and supporting duty and emergency cases. They must also commit to working in Devon every other week for a full week to ensure timely support for children and families.

A competitive salary of 44 per hour and 150 per week expenses are offered, along with the chance to contribute to improving services for children and young people in South Devon under an Ofsted Improvement Plan.

About the Job
  • Carry out comprehensive child and family assessments to identify areas of concern and develop effective intervention strategies.
  • Conduct section 47 child protection enquiries to ensure the safety and well-being of children at risk.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide expert advice and guidance on child welfare matters.
