About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Director to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Audit team, you will be responsible for leading and directing all aspects of the audit process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and transparent audits that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct all aspects of the audit process, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Manage and develop staff, including coordinating staff projects, mentoring, and appraising.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
  • Significant experience of delivering audit and other assurance services to major businesses, including listed firms with international interests.
  • Excellent working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
