About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join our Camden service as a Criminal Justice Team Leader. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with drug and/or alcohol issues involved in the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance, support, and direction to a team of dedicated recovery workers.
  • Operational line management of your team, including supervision, appraisal, performance, and sickness management.
  • Empower your staff to instill hope, empowerment, choices, control, and opportunities in service users, enabling them to realise their full potential.
  • Collaborate with various Criminal Justice Agencies to develop pathways and mutual ways of working for optimal outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with local prisons to ensure seamless transitions for service users upon release.
Requirements
  • Substantial experience in the substance misuse or criminal justice sector.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing and leading health and social care services, delivering services that demonstrate high performance and quality standards.
  • Significant experience in leading teams working with families under social care intervention is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with current legislation surrounding children, young people, and safeguarding practice is essential.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in common MS Office applications.
