About the Role

The Barrow Cadbury Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Criminal Justice Programme Manager. As a key member of our programme team, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering our criminal justice programme, which focuses on improving the lives of young adults in the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive programme strategy to achieve our mission of improving the criminal justice system for young adults and eliminating race and gender discrimination within it.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, funders, and community groups.
  • Lead and manage a team of programme staff to deliver high-quality programme activities and outcomes.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective use of resources.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in programme management, preferably in the criminal justice sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the criminal justice system and its complexities.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and partnership working.
