An exciting opportunity has emerged within our Southwark service for a **Criminal Justice Team Leader** to join our vibrant team, committed to supporting individuals with drug and/or alcohol issues involved in the criminal justice system.

Our Southwark team comprises a diverse group of knowledgeable Managers, caring nurses, prescribers, passionate recovery workers, and compassionate peer mentors.

**Position**: Team Leader

**Location**: Southwark

**Hours**: 37.5

**Salary**: £34,700.09 - £36,635.38

**Allowance**:£4072.06 Inner London Weighting

**Responsibilities**:
**About the Role**:

- As a Team Leader, you will provide guidance, support, and direction to a team of dedicated recovery workers.
- Your role involves operational line management of your team, including supervision, appraisal, performance, and sickness management.
- Empowering your staff to instill hope, empowerment, choices, control, and opportunities in service users, enabling them to realise their full potential, is a crucial aspect of your role.
- You'll collaborate with various Criminal Justice Agencies, such as police, probation, court staff, and liaison and diversion partners, to develop pathways and mutual ways of working for optimal outcomes.
- Building strong relationships with local prisons to ensure seamless transitions for service users upon release is another key component of your role.

**To excel in this role**:

- We seek an individual with substantial experience in the substance misuse or criminal justice sector.
- You should possess knowledge and experience in developing and leading health and social care services, delivering services that demonstrate high performance and quality standards.
- Significant experience in leading teams working with families under social care intervention is advantageous.
- Familiarity with current legislation surrounding children, young people, and safeguarding practice is essential.
