Job Description

Primary School Teaching Assistant Role

Milk Education is seeking a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a Primary School in North Shields. The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and recent experience working with children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing the classroom for lessons and clearing afterwards
  • Assisting with the display of pupils' work
  • Reporting pupil progress and achievements to the teacher
  • Contributing to planning and managing pupil behaviour
