We are seeking a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Reception at one of our Primary Schools in South Shields. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification, SEND experience, and Safe Handling or Team Teach training.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the pupil on a 1:1 basis, transitioning them into full-time school, and working in a Reception-based setting. The role will initially be Monday to Friday, mornings only, with the possibility of extending to full days as the pupil settles.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please note that all pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date. We offer all our registered candidates free child protection and prevent duty training, as well as assistance with enhanced DBS checks.
