Job Title: Primary School Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a Reception class.

About the Role:

  • Support a pupil with SEND on a 1:1 basis
  • Assist with transitioning the pupil into full-time school
  • Work in a Reception class environment
  • Monday to Friday, mornings only (initially)

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working with pupils with SEND
  • Safe Handling or Team Teach training
  • Completed safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
