Job Title: Primary School Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with SEND in a Reception class at one of our partner schools in South Shields.

About the Role:

  • Support a pupil with SEND on a 1:1 basis
  • Assist with transitioning the pupil into full-time school
  • Work in a Reception class environment
  • Monday to Friday, mornings only (initially)

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working with pupils with SEND
  • Safe Handling or Team Teach training
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
