District Nursing Deputy Team Manager - Band 6

Whittington Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Nursing Deputy Team Manager to join our team. As a key member of our District Nursing Service, you will be responsible for managing a team of nurses and ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of nurses to deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with clinical governance standards
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with a minimum of 2 years' experience in District Nursing
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of clinical governance standards and policies
