About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in District Nursing and will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills. You will be responsible for ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care and that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care in the community
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our patients
- Ensure that our team is working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive comprehensive care
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by our team and make recommendations for improvement
- 1st level registration with the NMC
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Further postgraduate certification
- Proven ability to meet work-based competencies in a clinical nursing setting
- Experience and understanding of teamwork and integrated working
- Understanding of 6Cs (including compassionate care) and embed them in practice
- Clinical Governance and clinical supervision
