About the Role

The Deputy District Nursing Team Leader will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care needs and the delivery of high-quality care to allocated patients in their own homes and/or various settings.

This role requires the ability to manage junior staff members, delegate tasks effectively, and manage workload efficiently. The post holder will work under the supervision of the Clinical Operations Manager and be responsible for the management of a caseload in their absence.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care needs for allocated patients
  • Deliver high-quality care to patients in their own homes and/or various settings
  • Manage junior staff members and delegate tasks effectively
  • Manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines as required
  • Work under the supervision of the Clinical Operations Manager and be responsible for the management of a caseload in their absence
