District Nursing Deputy Team Manager - Band 6

Whittington Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Nursing Deputy Team Manager to join our team. As a key member of our District Nursing Service, you will be responsible for managing a team of nurses and ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of nurses to deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations to ensure the quality of care is maintained.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in District Nursing.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and quality improvement principles.
