Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate care leader to join our team as a Residential Manager for a new, 3-bed home in Oldham. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children while growing within a supportive environment.

The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children's residential setting, strong knowledge of OFSTED regulations, and a track record of successful inspections.

About the Role
  • Leading and developing a team of care staff to provide high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of each child.
  • Ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulations and maintaining high standards of care.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of the home, including budgeting, staffing, and care planning.
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
  • Driving continuous improvement and ensuring the home meets and exceeds regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children's residential setting.
  • Strong knowledge of OFSTED regulations and a track record of successful inspections.
  • Experience working with children with learning disabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children.
