We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Swalcliffe Park School. As an Occupational Therapist / Occupational Therapy Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and therapeutic needs of our students with autism.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for assessing and implementing therapy plans to meet the changing needs of our students, working closely with the onsite multi-disciplinary therapy team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professional growth and development, with opportunities for supported CPD and training in sensory integration and autism-specific interventions.

Responsibilities:
  • Organising and prioritising a designated caseload to ensure timely and effective management of occupational therapy needs
  • Identifying and implementing appropriate assessments to evaluate occupational therapy needs
  • Developing and delivering individualised therapy programmes to support students' independence and functional life skills
  • Collaborating with other professionals to develop and implement comprehensive therapy plans
Requirements:
  • Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working with autistic children/young people
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: £29,970 - £36,483 per annum (NHS Band 5) + benefits.
