As a Senior Occupational Therapist in Acute Care, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to addressing the complex needs of patients in the Emergency Department, Emergency Assessment Unit, and Short stay wards.

Your primary responsibility will be to assess the needs of individuals attending the department, promoting early intervention and Frailty-specific assessments while ensuring safe and effective care. You will also participate in discharge planning, collaborating with families and healthcare providers to achieve optimal outcomes.

We expect our ideal candidate to possess a Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registration, and significant experience in frailty and/or Emergency Medicine. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
