Clinical Laboratory Support Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our Pathology specimen reception team at St. Peters Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy environment with a wide range of tasks across all sections of the department, including Blood Sciences, Immunology, and Virology.
You will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the pathology service, including performing request entry, answering frequent telephone queries, and maintaining good laboratory practice through documentation.
- Key responsibilities include working independently, demonstrating good computer skills, and possessing strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The successful candidate will also require flexibility with working hours, including late shifts and weekend participation as necessary.
- An understanding of basic biomedical terminology and equipment is desirable.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
Location: Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Surrey
