About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Laboratory Support Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Virology department with laboratory duties, including equipment maintenance and sample processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Virology department with laboratory duties
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment and performing quality control checks
  • Processing clinical samples and entering results into the laboratory computer information system (LIMS)

Requirements:
  • GCSEs or equivalent in science-related subjects
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
  • Able to understand and follow standard operating procedures
