Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  1. Ensuring the smooth operation of the laboratory by performing a range of tasks including specimen reception, tracking, disposal of samples/reagents, referral of samples to other laboratories, and entry of results into the laboratory computer information system (LIMS).
  2. Maintaining laboratory equipment, working in cooperation with BMS staff to ensure workload is processed in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Answering telephone/email queries and performing maintenance of equipment.
